Email Notifications is available on Starter and higher plans. Weekly reports begin with Starter; monthly reports require Professional or higher.
Recipients

Immediate security alerts

Alert Frequency
Maximum alerts per hour can be 1, 3, 5, 10, or Unlimited. Start with 5 (Balanced). Once the allowance is reached, additional immediate alerts wait until sending becomes available. Digest Mode combines several events into one summary instead of one message per event.
Example: small business siteSend IP Address Blocking and Suspicious Activity Pattern alerts to the administrator, use a five-per-hour limit, enable Digest Mode, and schedule a Monday weekly report.
Automated Reports

Email Templates
From Name identifies the sender. Subject Prefix adds recognizable text such as [SECURITY ALERT]. Include site information adds the site name and address so recipients managing several sites know which installation generated the message.
Test and rollout
- Enter recipients and save.
- Use Send Test Email.
- Confirm delivery, sender identity, formatting, and spam placement.
- Use Check Alert Limit to review the current hourly allowance.
- Enable only the immediate alert categories someone will act upon.
If mail does not arrive
- Verify WordPress can send other mail.
- Check SMTP or transactional-mail configuration and provider logs.
- Check junk folders and domain authentication.
- Confirm the address is valid and the test was not suppressed by the hourly allowance.
